What Dying Traditions Should Be Preserved?

Castles, postcards, drive-in theaters, artistic matchboxes, home economics classes, sitting on porches, neon signs, two martini lunches, manual transmissions, cursive writing, handwritten letters, handkerchiefs, canning and preserving, Viking funerals, manners/politeness, taxidermy, knitting, listening to full albums, bridge (card game), stamp/coin collecting, whistling, corn cob holders, rolling joints, learning new languages, shoe repair, friendship bracelets, civilized debate, and more...

And the apparent winner (by predominant number of posts): a nice sit-down dinner with good conversation, home-cooked food, no hats, and no distractions (phones, tv, games, etc.).
